There are different ways in how to measure the success of an email marketing campaign, one of which is the opening rate of emails. But just because emails are opened doesn’t mean that they’re effective. When companies get an unsubscribe rate of more than 0.5% then marketers should start looking at their campaigns and see what went wrong. But more importantly, different activities upon opening the email tell different stories.
